Status Racing SPA Icon Configurator is LIVE!

Its official… the SPA Icon seat configurator is now live on our site!  The much anticipated reclineable seat from Status Racing is almost in your hands.  The SPA, named after the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, is the venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and the Spa 24 Hours race.  Originally a triangle shape, the course used public roads between the Belgian towns of Spa, Malmedy, and Stavelot.  Not only is the SPA reclineable seat paying hommage with the name, we also have a special billet aluminum reclineable knob that will be included with the seat in a triangle shape (pictures coming soon).

Photoshoot of Status Ring GT and SPA in Porsche 997 Turbo

We took the opportunity to take some pics of different Status Racing seats in this Porsche 997 Turbo.  Featured is a kevlar Ring GT in red alcantara, Ring GT with carbon fiber back and red alcantara, as well as our new SPA reclineable in black alcantara with black and red alcantara inserts.  Some of the photos also feature our 4pt harness kits in red.  Enjoy the pics!

Status Racing has had an extremely great year with our Status Ring and Ring GT seats.  Through our Icon Configurator program, we have produced more seats then in any year of Status Racing’s history.  Many years ago, we debuted the SPA reclinable seat at SEMA.  This seat was very well received by the tuning community.  However it never came to life.  That now has changed!  In addition to reintroducing the SPA seat, we will also be bringing back the Status Racing Imola seat for those looking for a new race look to their automobile.
