With the new Ring GT-X seat newly released, it was only a matter of minutes that people were configuring their Status Icon setup. This customer is going to be overly stoked when he gets his new Status Racing Ring GT-X Icon seats. The all black ultrasuede jacket features a blue stitched logo with matching stitched seams. The center section has been done in blue ultrasuede featuring a tightly done diamond stitching. Along with the carbon fiber shell, this pair is official!






The Status Racing Limited Collections are a special collaboration of the Status product with influential companies, people, or artists. To get the ball rolling and introduced on a Status Limited seat, we worked with local upholstery team, DSquared to create this unique Ring GT Kevlar seat set. As an artist project, we basically said, “create a seat jacket inspired by the wild looks and trends of todays flushed wheel cars.” What was created was a hand stitched jacket that pops loud in your face with its multi-color, pattern design. Our friends over at Titan Motorsports geared up their track attack Porsche 996 Turbo with some of our finest Status Racing products. This race spec car features a pair of the Status Racing Ring GT seats in alcantara with carbon fiber backs. The black seats compliment the interior while being durable enough for the in and out motion of track life. New for 2012 is the Ring GT-X from Status Racing. The Ring GT-X though looks the same at a glance, is different in many ways. The basic changes in this new seat is a combination of the Ring and Ring GT. The lower hip portion is the same size as the Ring GT for larger drivers but flared out on the thigh bolsters to accomondate even more space then the Ring GT. Its the new year and Status Racing is cranking out some cool new seats! We just had this customer install a pair of Status Ring GT FRP black cloth seats in his Porsche 996 Carrera. This dedicated track car features a roll bar, upgraded suspension, Nitto tires, ECU Tune, intake, and exhaust. We only snapped a pic of the important part. Enjoy!
