Status Racing SPA Icon Configurator is LIVE!

Its official… the SPA Icon seat configurator is now live on our site! The much anticipated reclineable seat from Status Racing is almost in your hands. The SPA, named after the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, is the venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and the Spa 24 Hours race. Originally a triangle shape, the course used public roads between the Belgian towns of Spa, Malmedy, and Stavelot. Not only is the SPA reclineable seat paying hommage with the name, we also have a special billet aluminum reclineable knob that will be included with the seat in a triangle shape (pictures coming soon).

The SPA reclineable originally debuted in 2005 at the SEMA show to great reviews. Finally, Status Racing has developed this seat in our own unique styling to offer the driver who wants great street comfort and support, while being secured with enhanced bolsters. The back shell of the seat is carbon fiber, though through the Icon Configurator, you can choose to have it be Black Painted or Painted to Match your vehicle paint color. The bottom frame of the seat is metal to ensure the strongest in safety and function.

Like the Ring Series of seats, the SPA will be available in both Standard and Icon setup. The standard will be the same as the picture below coming in Ultrasuede Red, Black, or Gray only. It will feature the 6 square back cushion and a carbon fiber back. The Icon will allow you to configure the SPA in many different colors and materials. This includes leather and alcantara. The center back section can be done in the regular 6 square or you can get it smooth. We also offer diamond stitching for those really wanting to put this over the top!

We expect SPA seats shipable in 12 weeks and are not taking preorders.

Status Racing SPA Reclineable Seat Sneak Peak

We originally had a sneak peak of the Status Racing SPA reclineable seat back around SEMA 2011. However that seat was not what we wanted. We really wanted to bring back the exact product that debuted back in 2005 but was never produced. Having the original plugs from that seat, we had molds made and began producing the first article. The SPA will feature a very good upper and lower fitment to give comfort while providing stability. The SPA will become part of our Icon Configurator where you will be able to spec the look you want or buy a ready to ship SPA Standard product in Black or Red Ultrasuede. The Standard SPA will only be available in carbon fiber backing where the Icon SPA, also in carbon fiber, will be able to have custom painted backs to match your vehicles exterior or in any color you choose.

We expect a May/June 2012 release on these seats so stay tuned!

Saddle Leather Ring GT Looking for a Luxury Vehicle Home

Just finished up these awesome saddle leather Status Racing Ring GT seats. The leather seat as always features an embossed logo. These particular seats have color matched stitching and with the nice wide Ring GT, they are perfect for a a daily driver. In 2011 we did a similar setup in a Ferrari F430 that looked amazing! Check out the quality of these seats.

Brand New Status Ring GT-X Gray Leather Seats

Just finished these gray leather Status Ring GT-X seats for a customer that is having them installed here. These beauties are going in a Subaru STI and for the guess of it, probably a new 2011 limited. The carbon fiber back and gray leather combo is super clean along with the white stitching. The final touch, an embossed logo! Love it.

Stanced Honda S2000 Sporting BBS Wheels and Status Seats

Just got fowarded a gang load of photos from this Honda S2000 photoshoot and we must say it is pretty sick. Sporting the infamously flush look with some BBS RS wheels, the black Honda S2000 is also equipped with a set of Status seats. Always a favorite in the Honda crowd, both the Status Hockenheim and Status GT-X are great for narrow fitment cars. Enjoy the photos!
